jumble jumble fun!

The Royals are wed and street parties have ended, the streets are still dotted red, white and blue and although we didn't watch yesterdays celebrations from London the tv coverage filled us all with both nostalgia and British pride. Big screens in Chapelfield were showing the wedding celebrations and hymn sing alongs echoed the city, however i'm sure the hymn cd will not be reaching ourcollection. Even a royal hangover does not excuse you from not attending the Jumble Jumble today!

We've been very busy here, bargains galore and bags of lovely clothing, definitely a day full of fun and excitement (to say the least). Jumble Jumble has been a success so hopefullly it'll become a regular thing!

sorry it's been a while!

Its been a busy 7 or so months since our last post, we have had zine fairs, christmas extravaganzas and 1st birthday fun to name a few so if you are currently wondering what you've been doing on saturday don't despair, oh and if you haven't already 'liked' the cherry cherry facebook page what's been stopping you?

Anyway, Easter is here! Cherry Cherry is packed fuller than ever with crafty treats, the union jack paper chains are up and our royal wedding flags are out. Recently stocked royal tea towels designed by Gemma Correll complete with infamous corgis have been scampering out of the shop, not surprising after pugs not drugs...

We have an exciting few weeks ahead with 'Jumble Jumble' next weekend, starting at 10 and continuing throughout the day, escape the sunshine and head to the lanes for clothing, bric a brac, arts and crafts and MORE!

CHERRY CHERRY:hello...its been a while...

well its been a little while since i updated the blog, so thought i should get my act together and let y'all know whats happening in the world of CC.
there are a couple of events coming up...after the sucess of the previous two cupcake decorating workshops with cutiepie cupcakes we have another on tuesday 28th september. it will run from 2.30pm - 4.30pm and will include various, amazing techniques for decorating your cupcakes. you will take 4 or these delights home with you, before which afternoon tea and cake will be served...all of this for £20. email hello@cherrycherryshop.com for more info and to book a place (places are very limited so booking asap is recommended).
on the 25th september, cherry cherry will be playing host to trefor jones from the fancy dress party...who will be playing a set in-store from 1.30pm onwards...this little gig is in association with abbey road studios...exciting stuff.

Happy friday to you all...i hope the sun is shining wherever you are...NEW IN this week are these gorgeous purses, make-up bags and card holders by the lovely Dee Hewitt. Handmade from leather, with appliqued animals on...nice. Dee also makes moustache brooches, keyrings and magnets...these are just awesome!
Along with Dees' work i also have items from little clouds...airplane postcards, cassette tape wallets and badges...
